Our dues structure for the 2008/2009 school year is shown on the chart
below. AFT, and NYSUT, dues were increased for all members.
These increases were necessary to offset expenses. However, OFT
dues remain unchanged! Please make certain proper dues are deducted from
your paycheck. Compare your job title to those categorized and note the
dues listed. Part time teachers', PT's, OT's dues are determined by salary
range. If there are any errors in the amount of dues deducted or no dues
are being deducted, please contact Bev Kaplan immediately via e-mail
or interoffice mail at School #5. Contacting Bev
early will avoid future problems.
By law, everyone must pay dues to their bargaining agent, the OFT.
It is your responsibility to pay the appropriate dues.
